    I'm certain this is a fake example, but just in case I wanted to run it by you all. I've never encountered this maker on a scull prior to finding this one. Thank you very much for your time.

    Sorry to rehash now two years later. What gave it away that this was fake? Is that a fake RZM number or other details. Unfortunately I wasn't so lucky as to just see it and not buy it, I bought it and paid way too much for it.

    Please note: M1/122 was the Fa. I. Deutschbein G.m.b.H. in Euskirchen, not so far from Bonn.
    I know of no SS cap badges made by this firm.

    Well, I'll chalk it up to an expensive lesson. I am in Germany and don't have Internet on my phone, wish I could have looked it up BEFORE I purchased it!
