everyone said at one time. deschler m1/52 only used round disk or crimped in pins..rzm early 52 only used soldered pins..but this one looks original to me..
Your badge looks good to me. Maybe the splints were restored or whatever. What you read on line about these badges is often ill informed or purposefully misleading.by castle

These attachments are real and untouched.
Then you can put your fears aside, if Mr. Carlsson likes it. It is a nice badge. If it is surplus, I will buy it.
I especially find the balderdash about "prongs" to be the lowest of sophistry out there...

Here a collector has a real item which he doubts because of misleading "information," which in reality is a form of psychological war.
This kind of thing happens all the time. Nice people are duped out of real items; innocent people are confused and so forth.
