Article about: this was brought to me by someone that knew I collect WWll relics. I'm just not 100% this is German. I cant find a match to it anywhere. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated

Not SS but looks a lot like the skull the German Spanish CW tankers wore on their berets.

I cannot postively id it, but I must say I do like the look of it.

    Cheers, Ade.

Scarce variant of the Danziger Totenschaedel and could have been worn by the SS, in fact. Look at Lumsden's posts.

I am almost giddy that the correct spelling of "skull" has finally been accepted!

It's always good to see that a random thing someone has is actually good. I think 95% of the time it turns out to be a postwar flop. Congrats to you sir.

Those of us who learned how to spell correctly are likely caught in the mental waste of the 20th century.
I have an image of this badge on an SS cap somewhere, but I cannot find it.
Happy buntmetall to all readers everywhere.

About 10 years ago in the Muenchen was found a cardboard with mixed jaweless and this kind of skulls.

After looking at Lumsden's post...Danziger Toten schaedel. I'm thinking I might find this somewhere down the road on a visor cap in some picture. Now I'm on a mission to find a match. It certainly is an interesting piece and I had to have it as soon as I saw it. Thank you everyone for your input.
