Ges. Gesch Skull is it original?

Found this zinc Assmann skull, marked Ges. Gesch:

Probably a ground dug, due to the corrosion (top right backside) and the dirt.

I do like the shape of the eyes and the nose.
I don't think there's anything wrong with the placement of the prongs either, they are also the correct round style.
The crossbones does not cause any unrest to me, evidence of a little corrosion and use.

I am no expert, what do you think of the skull gents?

When it comes to GES marked skulls, you should have flat line details in the teeth rows as in the case of this one. The pronouncement on the top left of the skull crown is also there, and is slightly less pronounced than the Assmann. The prongs look correct and aligned- the round points being correct. The darker patina of GES skulls is generally that flat, dark grey-definitely there.. The rubbed off parts of the makers mark is indicative of natural wear. I am no fan of the GES skull, but I think yours looks to be the real deal. Congratulations.
