    A rather absurd statement, really.

    Obviously, studio portraits or indoor photographs of Eicke (or anybody else, for that matter) often depict him bare-headed.

    Otherwise, he wore the same headgear as any other SS officer. Wartime photographs usually show him with a grey service cap - of which he often removed the cap cords when in the field - or, more rarely, a sidecap.
