New M1/52 Deschler totenkopf!

Hi all,
My search for a Deschler is over! This arrived in the post today and I'm very pleased with it. The seller told me it was brought back by a George Longstaff who served in the Green Howards in WWII.

Quick postage! nothing worse waiting for weeks for ebay sellers to pull their finger out.

So, is it solder or araldite on the broken prong base?

It's solder. I'm not sure why it's been soldered as these would have been pretty cheap to replace. I s'pose it could have been on the field... I'm pretty sure the vet who brought it back wouldn't have tried to repair it.
