    Hello guys,

I was looking into possibly purchasing a Danziger totenkopf but I just had a question in regards to the originality of this skull (shocker huh?!). I guess my biggest concern are the maker marks . I don't remember seeing many of these early skulls with the RZM mark on them although according to some earlier posts I see some of them did. Does the skull itself look legit? Everything else on the skull seems correct. There are just so many variants out there its tough to put a finger on these sometimes. Just wanted to get your expert opinion.

    Thanks again!

Recently, I read a very good thread about Early skulls. I too question the RZM markings. But let the true experts chime in. But here is the the thread. Carlosson1982 and Woolgar sure know their stuff! Hope this helps.

Once again, thanks guys. I always value your opinion and make sure to always do my research on stuff like this before posting but this one was a bit iffy. I've made my mistakes before so its great to have a little back-up on something like this. I appreciate the info!

Original it is but it is missing both prongs - would be a hard sell buyers want these with prongs in place!

My thoughts as well, Ado....it would have been a nice original piece but for the missing prongs.

Yes, and + area where it's stamped "st&l.l." looks pretty messed up!
