    I read through some of the forums and that helped a bit. But with this much oxidization I'm having a hard time.

    Haha, well either way I paid nothing for it. Why it would be in this horrible a shape if it was fake is beyond me. Thanks Gents.

    It looks like this, in fact, because of the zeal of the faker to age it, which overshoots what an authentic one is, and then some. All too droll.

    Both of them IMO fairly recent fakes , without much effort taken to resemble anything real ..
