Not liking the TK, weak detail on face.

I wouldn't second guess yourself Al. I think yours and Chris s observations are spot on. The varying edge thickness, excess material seen around the edge (above the Adler's head especially) and overall weak detail, would be a no on both for me as well. Better than average fakes, but still both bad imo. Kindest regards.

Hi Ralph, I know the round disc attachment were exclusive to the M1 52 and the lack of discs usually associated with earlier versions marked 52 but i forgot that there were transitional M1 52's without discs like in Migobeego's thread. Here is a photo of all my Deschler's with varying attachment points.

Yes a clear image is very important. There are far more knowledgeable collectors who will give you a definitive answer shortly and you will know for sure......
