    It is a well-known reproduction , not even executed in the correct material .
    Here is a an identical fake , please note the irregular pebbling on the surface ..

    As for the name of the maker 1194 , the marking indicates a direct SS contract - and to my knowledge this one has not been identified .
    We do know that they recieved a similar contract in 1939 ;

    Front is identical - originals ( always in Aluminium ) of these are harder to find than e.g. the RZM 63 versions .
    Note again the smoothness of the pebbling ..
