You don't see anything wrong with the prongs at all as well as the overall finish?
I don't, the finish is nice and It's a stamped piece. This is of course my opinion.
    Kind Regards,

Thank you for the pictures. Very interesting indeed.

My doubts weren't regarding the use of aluminium, but the types of prongs used and the fact that they are not aligned with each other. I spent a good amount of time browsing through different forums and couldn't find any other example with the same prongs configuration.

I also feel like the one in your pictures looks less new and shiny although being a very, very clean example.

Hi, out of all examples provided, I still do not see fat, round prongs like the one in question. Let me express again how highly I respect Carlsson's opinions on these type of items, and that is just my opinion. If this piece is not authentic, as i stated in my first post, the obverse is real close, if not right on. I have also seen a variety of authentic "new" looking, or "minty" pieces. But some things to consider before buying. Well, good luck, hope all turns out ok. K

This is also what I was thinking regarding the round prongs.

I'll definitely be studying the matter more as I would definitely love this SS skull to be authentic.
