I saw this example, it seemed too cheap to me but if original you should jump on it for that price!
"In all my years as a soldier, I have never seen men fight so hard." - SS Obergruppenfuhrer Wilhelm Bittrich - Arnhem
These 3 prong cap skulls have been around for a Long time now-I remember seeing them as far back as in the early 60's. I've never particularly Liked them or their quality of manufacture, but I do believe that they are period and original. Some label them late Assman production and some say Baltic manufacture, but whatever they are and from wherever they originate, they've been around some good long time and despite as Ben says that no one has yet to produce a hat with one On it, I still do think they are genuine.
"Much that once was, is lost. For none now live who remember it."
Im still not sure this is orginal skull. In my opinon not
Pls compare lack of details on bones, overal shape of skull and if you count a teeth on this skull is 10 teeth upper and 10 lower.
All orginal Assman skulls has 11 upper and 11 lower teeth
I have some Assman skulls and is exactly 11 on every skull.
And of course Ges-Gesch stamped on back.
Of course this is my personal opinon
