is this an original tk button, it was bought as a ground dug piece. I had to give it an oxalic acid bath to loosen the rust, then some 600 grit sand paper.

but like other assmann it has 11 teeth top and 11 bottom
It's a very common fake.
Agreed , it is in fact the same as the regular 155-38 fake , which is even more common ..
Different markings , both pretending Assmann but both fake ;

What you should take to heart from this , is that " pebbling in the eyes " is not a simple trick solution to authenticity .
This nice little detail is different among manufacturers : originals of 57/63 types will have it , but other originals ( 1194 ) will not .
The fake shown above has it too , so no proof there ..
