I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the ss totenkopf is real or fake. Also it was mounted on the hat and i was wondering if anyone knows anything about the hat itself. I tried research the maker but was unable to find anything. thank you

Hi Matt IMO the Adler and Skull are bad never seen a good SS marked skull the numbers on it I am not sure who the maker is ? and the prongs on the adler look wrong. I will let the others comment on the hat.

Total repro -and not a very good one at that. Buttons, Insignia, Construction, Material..this cap has it all, but all of it is Bad.. William

A useful thing to remember is that no original Totenkopf had the 'SS' runes on the back.

you will also notice on the adler and skull there is a rim running around the edges from the cast
