SS Totenkopf Replica - Thoughts?
Hi there.
I recently bought this SS Totenkopf replica as it was relatively cheap and I didn't want to fork out a huge amount at this stage. However, how accurate a replica is if? Is if relatively accurate, or is it a complete disaster? It is marked with RZM 155/38 and the SS runes. Let me know what you all think. Cheers!

The mark on the rear is typical as found on the cap eagle, or buttons, hooks, etc. Not on the death's head cap badge.
155 was the VA SS contract number for Assmann, but the averse of this style of badge is ala Deschler.
That is to say, this is not an accurate reproduction, copy, or whatever.

It is a very cheap and horrible copy made in Poland.
Duncan, I think You need to research here and else where then purchase items rather than the other way round.Cheap or expensive its still a replica.For a little more money You could have purchased a genuine ground dug item.Granted in perhaps poor condition but none the less real.Worth a sack full of replicas in My opinion.
There is a lot of gentlemens here, who share rares and incredibly well documented pictures about SS and regalia.
Take time to study them. It' s the first step.
