It looks to me like a fake- comparing it to original Deschlers, the eyes and nose don't seem to match up. I'm not sure how to properly describe it, but you don't see the metal curve into the sockets as much on original examples I've seen. The detail on the nose is also less sharp on this piece, it seems. These are just my observations, I may be wrong, so I wait to see other opinions. I'd post pictures to compare, but right now my image uploader isn't doing as it's told...

Thx Mat for the advise.
I was told that Snyders Treasure Trove Collectible Militaria a very trustable dealersite is... But just to be sure I've putted the TK pics on the forum.
Now just waiting to see your pics so I can compare them.
Let's see what other have to say.
Kris.
kris IMO this is fake as in second picture the nose seems to have a blob which is a good way of saying it is cast if you look around at original totenkopf you will see a clear nose if fact just have a wee look at mats profile picture of a good totenkopf
hope it helps
tom

This one is really garbage.
dont trust that dealer. he is a load of rubbish I heard
Snyder is NOT the place for for shopping and the tk proofs my thoughts
I'm glad my suspicions are correct! I took a look at his site, and remember it as a place I've come across a fake SS eagle before. Also, he claims to have some pretty extraordinary items, such as personal belongings of Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun... I'd be amazed if any of those claims are genuine. For a closer look at the Totenkopf in my display picture, look here-
