Lol, I guess the idea is that you are supposed to leave it sealed up
or it will devalue the entire package - ( this way no one
will ever know what is inside ! )

If these were genuine, I imagine they would likely
sell for more than an 'unpackaged' skull........!

it sounds like one of those fake high-end wrist watches that cost you thousands of dollars but if you ever open the back of them, you negate the warrantee (right after you notice it has a Chinese 2 dollar movement in it..) William

Exactly. If this manner of packaging was actually declared as original, I'd have bought it... and carefully opened it, at the dismay of many collectors I imagine! It would have been interesting to have a mint example to display along with a worn, naturally aged one.

Hi Mat, now you have posted where this one is coming from I took an additional look at the other wears on offer. The whole range of insignia does not make pleasant viewing. 99.9% of stuff is bad.

I know the seller as I used to re-enact with him. Very dissappointing.

Yeah, I'm not too sure why I bother checking that site anymore. Do you think he knows he's selling junk? I'm used to dealers having a mixture of good and bad items as you can't be an expert on all things- but having so many fakes is pretty ridiculous, you would think he'd at least have a basic knowledge of this stuff.

Blanker Bloedsinn. There are many images of Proben and their proper markings. Also, there was no "Abteilung Metall und Leder" in the RZM. These were quite separate. What a pathetic joke. Look at all my posts and then some. Quatsch.
