    When 'arf of your bullets fly wide in the ditch,
    Don't call your Martini a cross-eyed old bitch;
    She's human as you are you treat her as sich,
    An' she'll fight for the young British soldier
    When you're wounded and left of Afghanistan's plains,
    An' the women come out to cut up what remains,
    Jest roll to your rifle an' blow out your brains,
    An' go to your Gawd like a soldier." - Rudyard Kipling

    You have chosen wisely to seek another example of the posted piece.

    There are those who make fine livings selling spurious material to the unknowing. Worse, yet, are those who make their living without the slighted knowledge of what they peddle.

    Each of us must strive to better our knowledge of what is original and what is not. There will always be healthy debate over some rare and esoteric item, but the majority of insignia can be judged adequetly by those who assist here. I would rather see one thousand fakes labled as such, on this site, than one fake get into a collection, paid for with hard earned wages.

    totally agree, there are obvious fakes in even the most experienced and established collections. and they refuse to either reco
    gnise or admit it, just look at the britishe freicorps tab recently sold at auction
