    Default SS flag real or FAKE???

    Hey guys,

    So I just purchased an ss flag from a guy that said he got it from a veteran that got hurt and was sent home. And was put on light duty at a pow camp and received it as a gift from one of the prisoners. Don't really know what to look for ? other then I did the black light test and nothing happened, no glow nothing.     i know nothing about SS flags or their markings. i can say it looks to be well made. and i like the uneven stitching. beyond that i'd need to see the material better. the prolific markings would make me want to research it more before buying. but thats just an my observation.

    Never seen one with so many clear markings, so that would concern me.

    We do have a specialist flag and pennant sub forum. Have a look there, as we have many examples posted of original flags. My advice is to avoid SS flags. 99% of them on the market are fake.

    Look for things that does not match up. Old flag brand new cord, stamps look very new too.
