SS Trumpet Banner what do you think?

I am collector of German Militaria in general and i have been offered this SS trumpet banner.Unusual gold coloured fringe and the brown(wool i think) unit square to the corner like the SA type,any opinions and any information needed.....Thanks Rob

I concur with Stuka F. The banner is very poor quality work in comparison to period work. As the most important paramilitary organization in the 3rd Reich, the SS always received top notch equipment. This banner is a product of the 4th Reich. A reproduction and not a very good one.

evan i can see this is bad the unit patch is really bad looking stiching arond the ss runes is all over the place!

That is poor quality made banner, save your money if' you'll gonna to buy it. A bad fake IMO

FB, interesting, as always, photograph. Do you know when it was taken? I note the ww1/transitional helmet worn with the National colours rather than the hakenkross i would associate with SS helmets.
