OK guys, i have an issue that needs your help... some one has trimmed the tassel slightly, and the fringe is fraying ..... how do i stop this? The old " burn the ends" trick? Please help asap !!!!!!!

Very nice Fez! As far as burning it that may not work as most period items will turn to ash and not melt as you would hope. Just my 2cents.

Perhaps a touch of fabric glue (the kind that will disolve in water)

Newbie,Please just leave it as its a great piece and an excellent price and trying to do what you said will not be a good idea.Sometimes its best to leave a nice original piece alone.Try German War Booty.com and go to SS insignia,he has the tab you are looking for!Great site for misc.also.Carl
