Default 1944 cotton drill SS camo tunic

just picked up this little number, what do you guys think? Four pocket, cotton, all the pebbled buttons are present, both belt loops are inside the tunic with holes for them to protrude outside. Black ink has Betr. Ra issued out of ravensberg I've been told.

tunic has a few minor snags, seems to be overall pretty excellent condition.

I think the kkk hood should be destroyed. Just my humble opinion.

That particular hood is from 1916, some of the odd items that I have in my collection, my collecting now is third reich only, getting out of all the other stuff..

But the SS stuff shouldn't? lol

'Betr. Ra' indicates that it came from KL Ravensbrück, which was a women's camp located in Northern Germany.

No, in my opinion it shouldn't. I feel there is quite of a difference between the tr and the kkk. However, at the time I didn't know it was an historical item. Also, it's just an personal opinion. As I've already stated, to each there own.

I actually have one of the largest collections of KKK items in Australia, dates all the way back to late 1800s... very interesting history and usually a lot of misconception surrounding it, KKK has been around quite a long time. Anyway this isn't a KKK forum.
