Our goal: education, enlightenment, and further perfection of one's skill to understand the past. All of these images were posted on public sites and deserve a wider audience here. None was proffered to me at least in confidence or under discreet circumstances. I am sure the owners are happy that their material draws so much respect and admiration. Surely that is why they posted the things in the first place, no?

You seem to have snagged the piece from Whamond with the price tag. It has a twin in the Pacific Northwest of N. America. Congratulations.

The grey SS caps that endure are concentrated in a few clumps, it seems, and our goal is knowledge and reflection.
