Re: Opinions wanted about SS Uniform
I am your spiritual adviser and your spell checker. Yours is still a very fine uniform, even if you are touchy about grammar. Thank you for showing it all to us. I am sure the other seekers here will profit from your considerable experience with these things. You should show us some more of your field grey treasures...
where is Robert H? Is he chasing German armored vehicles on the back of heavy equipment transporters?

Hello Big Daddy and gratulations on your tunic.
Always nice to see the right poeple on a forum!
Fritz, no today I was chasing down other stuff ... but in regards of this posted tunic I have nothing else to add as this was already said about it.

Dear Colleague, thanks. I hope you got the Sonderkraftfahrzeug.
I had the chance to buy a Horch command car in 1983, but I failed to do so. I could not imagine finding the spare parts. It is the story of my life.
Gruess, Jhr, Fritz.

Re: Opinions wanted about SS Uniform
The SdKfz was actually not a SdKfz it was a Czech vehicle ... OT810 ...
My dream started already as a kid and would be the NSU Kettengrad.

I rode on one of these at Sinsheim in 1982. It was very loud. You have to visit to Jacques Littlefield Panzer zoo in your present locale of California. He has several. He also has a PzKw 1 as well as the restored Panther found in Polska.
I imagine he buys up the things found in bogs elsewhere on this website in central and eastern Europe.
I actually always wanted an NSU Ro 80, actually, when I was a student in Germany. Such a thing had no tracks, of course, but a Wankelmotor.
