Why did this one become famous?
good to have a range of books on SS insinga also i know the "Angolia" book has some mistakes but still rated very high among collectors as i was recommended to buy it buy a few people quite rare also.
But i do believe the top cuff is a fake.
Thanks guys! And I will await feedback from the Grand Master.
FB: I did look at the sticky thread you mentioned, as well as a few others plus the one I linked in my first post. My weakness in these however was the reason I sought out expert advice. Thanks for help.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them
"Don't tell me these are investments if you never intend to sell anything" (Quote: Wife)
David Delich, who knows all, says thus:
"...The thing that gives this A.H. away as a fake is the missing
short line that connects the bottom of the "d" to the top
of the "o" -- as someone pointed out by circling the authentic
Embree example from the Angolia tome. That connective
line MUST be there..."
We thank him warmly and celebrate his insight and wisdom.
"...Why did this one become famous?"
After I sold it, it was rendered in a colored picture book with much hoo ha and whoop de doo. The book: the English dealer's book on the "Allgemeine SS."
By the way, the pictures off this site are proliferating in the digital circus like a fungus.
