Is it true that all cuff titles featuring the silver bullion threading have 7 lines on each edge?

Hi normally the original cuffs had 7 silver threads but 6 has also been seen on some Der Führer and Das Reich cuffs and as fare as I know they were original too. But there has been a lot of debate on that subject.

A lot of the older fakes were produced with 6 strings
