Way cool armband! Major smorgasborg on that one! I like it because it does show that not all armbands were made the same way. My SS example is also different - but what I like about it is that it was "customized" by the SS-man at one point....it was "enlarged" by adding some material to the back to extent it's circumference. I wonder if this was done in order to put it on a tunic or overcoat? Poor SS-man's wife probably put her foor down and said - "you're not buying another armband - give that here - I can fix this for you"....even then they were concerned with money!

New here guys, mine is cotton under wool, a little moth bitten, the swastika and white patch is machine stiched and the white is rayon it appears, it does glow under the black light. would this be a legit variation or a fake. none of the thread glows, just the white patch

Hello arboreast...if possible - could you post pics? That would be the best way to get a real good idea on the armband. Sounds good to me but pics are always a must for a definite answer!
