Well...how did I do...?
I've never seen it sewn on like that with induvidual pieces of fabric. Doesn't mean it is fake, just stating.
To my young friend: multi part construction of these armbands is conventional. Again take a look on this forum to see many original examples. A couple of tips on these: the red cloth on many originals has an almost orange hue. To see what I mean have a look at some featured on the forum. Also the white roundal will also be slightly oval. The material will have a ribbed weave and when sewn on, this will run vertically
Hi Cat, I would really like to see some clear straight on photos taken in daylight. I have some concerns about this one.
Cheers, Ade.
...man...this doesn't sound good...
I forgot about the ribs running vertically...
That does not look good to me.JMHO

I don't think this looks good as well, I realy haven't seen anything quite like this.. The sewing appears to have a very 'home-made' kind of look to it.
I know that there are pieces that are field made, but i don't believe this fits in that category. The RZM tag also appears to be iffy, IMO.

constructions seems sloppy and haphazard,,,i would pass on this and wait for a better example
Man....
I got thinking more about the tag...stitching seemed correct, just worn a bit....
damn.
Thanks for posting the better pics.
The overall quality of this one is indeed a bit sloppy, (the swastika is not very well done) yet I am going to go out on a limb and say it is good. The RZM label is worn which again makes it hard to id. But it is not the same as the fakes that I am aware of. Overall the whole armband does exhibit some genuine age to it.
Let's see what others have to say. Hopefully FB and Bob H and Bob C will chip in with their thoughts.
Cheers, Ade.
Thank you for telling me. I would have known.
