Authenticity of SS M43

Need help on whether this cap is authentic or not. My biggest concern is the air hole. It only has one on each side, which I understand that some had in the later months of the war. Sorry the pictures are so bad (I didn't take 'em. Some old lady did...) I might be posting more clear pictures of the patch. Bottom line, did any M43 caps have air holes?

I'm thinking this might be a possible Dachau cap???
I found a picture of someone's true Dachau patch on this forum, (posted below) and it looks quite similar...
Also is a picture of an M43 with a hole?
Any help would be great

Hi Mabrgo,
this cap is crap...pardon the pun!Opinions apart comparing the patch on the cap you've posted to the other one is like comparing a banana to an apple!

I must agree with Manny.

The cap in the original photo is a Bergmutze and not a Einheitsfeldmutze, hence the air vent.

Sorry guys... can't post the pic or I would show you. It is a Waffen SS Dachau trap (not Panzer black) and I wanted to know if it was the real deal. Came from an estate sale.
