Backs of the black SS tunics.

Article about: Does anyone have any pictures of the back of the black SS tunics? I'm interested in the cut and make up of them and most of the pictures are from the front and the side. Thanks !

Mollo's books are still great for this type of info, they are expensive and were written a while ago, but a must for any aspiring SS collector.

Ah yes, I have the full set of these, Kevin, funny how you forget to use the basic tools first when sat in front of a computer screen. Embarrassing really

After so many decades Mollo is still highly relevant to today's collector. Of no small significance is the fact that it is founded upon data obtained from primary sources and, to this day, is one of the few publications in English that has references to these sources. The booklet like I shared with you is just one example of these sources and the amount of research Mollo must have put into his volumes stands as a testament to what makes an excellent reference book.

I can't show any nice and fancy tunic as I do not collect, but my cooperation
is the complete text for manufacturing of the SS-tunic as according to the
RZM-regulations from 1938. The text is in German, sorry!

    Dear Wim,

Thank you for posting these, they are of more value here than any picture of a tunic. Thanks for your contribution, not just in this thread, but, in all of your wonderful books and knowledge-rich posts.

    Best,

    CMH

I'd just like to add, we are very lucky to have such academics and world class collectors, who so generously share their knowledge and collections. I for one would like to say thank you for all the time end energy you devote to this fine forum, it's is sometimes thankless, but it's still greatly appreciated. Keep up the Great Work.
    Cheers Chris
