Not sure on this pin, but I think the pin being broken off decreases the value greatly just my opinion though
Thanks. I agree, it just seems like a good price.
You could break a cheap 30.00 party pin or cheap pin of some sort, solder that any you would have a 300.00 pin. Its real.
A decent price, in my opinion. A quick clean spot of solder if done professionally should be no trouble and should not decrease it's value considerably.

I would urge real caution on this one.
Points of concern:
Material used
Look at the edges to the rear and the "burrs" to the edges on the points
Pin was incorrectly fitted off centre
Shape of the runes

I don't like It too, It lacks details and the letter B is also different.
Again, the pin shown would be a pin back and the links point to Lapel examples and when you photo these things they can look funny. I wont dispute some minor differences, however this would be a pin back example and the enamel is right as are the flaws. Its correct, and comparison photos will show the differences. I just do not have time at the moment to pull them. But for the sake of argument or analysis I will make a point to do it later.
Actually this photo should work and the differences of the pin back you see on the top right are going to be lighting.
Actually, this should put it to rest. There will be distinct differences, and this is also a correct pin.
Thanks for the pics. They are helpful.
Cheers, Ade.
