I would have to see a good, close-up photo of the reverse. There is one Jaquard weaving loom that made a slightly different weave which occurs on the Honenstaufen band with connected letters.

Please try a closer photo.

Thank you very much Bob for your answer. As soon as I got it in my hand I will take better photos. I just bought it. I didn´t pay much for it so their will not be any big loss if it´s a replica , but it sure would be nice if it was a good one

I probably will have it in a few weeks.

Hi Mike, sorry but your guess is correct.

The edge detail to the reverse is the give-away here. Have a read of my pinned thread on the subject of Bevo cuff titles.

I agree with Ade. This is a title woven on the incorrect Jaquard Weaving Machine. The reverse, having a different pattern from most of the copies, is a new one on me and I don't have this type of fake in my archive. The reverse border weave does give it away. I will have to get out more!
