since Iam not really a cloth insignia collector, I want to know how you see of those are fakes or not? and are they?
(These are not mine, They're somewhere for sell)

Looks like machinemade replicas to me but then again I'm not an expert. I've seen real uniforms in norwegan museum and are struck how 'handmade' the insignas often are, not crisp and nice like those hollywood uniforms... Guess prisoners made a lot of uniform details for the germans during war... :P
These types of fakes are often sewn to material to conceal the backs, which are very different than the originals.
Here is where you can buy both already sewn to the material. I am sure this is where these two originally came from.
Welcome to Richard A Underwood Militaria
Yes, I think they came from the same place, shame that we don't have a close up's from these fakes.
can you show the details that make them fakes, It will help a lot
thx
When I next see Richard (he is a friend of mine) I will see if he has any of these in stock that are not sewn onto the material.
Cheers, Ade.
You don't need to see the backs to recognize these fakes for what they are. The neck and breast feathers are unique to this one and different from any original style. That's about all I want to say in an open forum to avoid helping the fakers make this one any better than it already is.
Eagle good
Skull fake
Agreed! They are both bad.
Cheers, Ade.
Here's the back of the fake BeVo eagle.
All the best,
David
