I was asked about this.....

...and it is ex one of the nation's leading collections from a very fine man who died too young.
Remarkable is also 58 3/4 cms. Have not seen that before.
superb material, the Pepera visor was quite legal priced at this time.
Now sales price is around 4630$ higher.
Interesting. I've noticed elsewhere Mr. Stonemint has given the visor currently up for auction and shown above the thumbs up.
Clemens Wagner used plastic, not rubber, for their sweat-shields.....correct? This leads me to my next question which is, is it possible the lack of patina on the sweat-shield is due to storage conditions? or even the degree of photography. I'm clearly out of my league in all this and am certainly not suggesting it's authenticity one way or another, just attempting to learn something.
Last questions: could the difference between the two be attributed to the example up for auction is a Clemens Wagner and the visor from the ex: Pepera collection is a August Mueller? Finally, did Wagner and Mueller use the same materials for their sweat-shields?
