Thanks, dear colleague, others will have something less pleasant to say soon enough.

I, for one, will say what should be said: such a treasure trove of authentic SS regalia is never seen in the quantity & quality that you time and again selflessly provide and even if one were to attempt to build their own photographic resource by books or any other means they would certainly find the effort met with far greater cost than they do here. This is at the crux of the respect you deserve for the effort.

I hope all is well. As for the others, that's their loss. I know for a fact many members here don't feel this way, and would be extremely grateful to own any items which you have possessed; including myself.

Thanks for the kind words. To be sure, the expense I have incurred falls not on others, save, perhaps, when they use the image merely to say "thank you."
My goal to show my material is also as a protest against the serial injustices to the truth perpetuated by the denizens of the other site.
I am confident that when the moment is right, the cannibals and grave robbers will attack as viciously as they have recently done
    .
I can never exclude that something in my ownership is a fake, but I think not.
Were someone to offer countervailing evidence in a reasonable way, I would be delighted to have a debate, an analysis, especially one with merit, evidence, balance, and discipline.
But such is not the case all too often. and almost never on the vortex of hate website.

    FB,
I have been a member on this site for a little over a year now, and I have seen each of these pictures at least a few hundred times. I am still astounded by the quality of craftsmanship put into these impressive pieces, and seeing their pictures never gets old. There are literally thousands of different pieces of militaria being represented on this forum, but these black SS items are so far above anything else. They are absolutely priceless. The fact that you have acquired such a collection is groundbreaking to say the least. Your collection certainly sets the standard in this hobby. It is a real pleasure to see these again, and I'm looking forward to seeing them again tomorrow, and the day after...
    Regards,
    Corey

Thank you for the kind words. My purpose though is directed as a protest against what I see as a great injustice which has congealed for me why I am on the verge of quitting this and all on line sites.
but rather offering thanks here for these objects, let us redouble our efforts to keep this site a healthy and sane place where things of merit can occur without fear and criminal intent.
Might I say that several leading dealers who rely on me, in turn, pull little stinky fast ones on me of an irritating sort on a fairly regular basis. They all overcharge me shamelessly too, but I do not go to militaria faires, or hock shops, or flea markets and garage sales. But the trespasses of dealers are normal and have been my lot since the early 60s.
Such does not move me to rend my breast about evil dealers. The fakers in my youth were in the US, the UK, and Germany and they were, in retrospect, a colorful lot akin to pornographers, pimps, counterfeiters and other people on the margin. Some were all these roles and missions in one....
Yet they had something I wanted, and I tolerated, more or less, their ravages. The worst cheating I ever endured was from a fellow collector who today poses as the nemesis of all fakers, and, in fact, invented the whole trope before most here glimpsed first light of day.
It is the wolf in sheep's clothing that I deplore.
More irritating to me are "check list" and pseudo archaeological gun show lore devils and demons and the living dead who plague us all with their fundamentalist clap trap that cannot stand the light of day.
and their deeply anti intellectual and unhistorical way of looking at the past, and especially, their shouting down anyone who questions their bona fides.

Although my comments aren't left on your posts all too often, I always enjoy looking at your collection, thank you for showing it. In fact, it leaves me speechless sometimes and makes me want to throw my crap into the junk pile, ha. Your collection and what Bob Coleman has shown, inre cloth material, cannot be matched. (sorry if I missed someone) We make a good team really, you show fine material, I look at fine material.....everyone happy! Lets do this again soon.

Regarding credit for your pictures, forget it, thieves may use them to take someone's money but credit will not be given to you or the forum. Unfortunately, even I have experienced this picture borrowing thing already.
