Black SS tunic from elsehwere, dated 1936

Article about: From elsewhere come these images of a real tunic that has dorked up insignia and collar piping, but is real. It is interesting because it has the VA stamp, the VA SS contract tag and the RZM

Hi , yes they were blue but so deep in hue that they appear more black, and that's a very interesting point, one which I had'nt realised before about the uniforms being copied from us, nowadays the uniform has changed drastically and really bears no resemblance to the older period ones, more like a paramilitary costume now, progress sometimes ***** big time :-)

The US Navy has a black uniform which is called navy blue, but it is quite black.
In my German textile book are such blue uniforms which appear black, but the USN one is just black.
Britain had wonderful uniforms, and even in the UK Army today, which I know professionally, they have very nice uniforms.
Otherwise, all uniforms are deteriorating in aesthetic terms to resemble cartoon figures, just as is happening with automobiles and such.
The contemporary aesthetic stinks, or, as you say, *****.
    damit, basta.
