I think the rare brown skull is a darker copper brown color not this golden color.

So, I guess this is a tropical skull that's been collored to deceive???
No , I think this is just a tropical TK in a slightly darker colour - these do vary a bit .
There was a genuine brown version of THIS type , but it is truely brown , not just a dark tan .
Either way , I have never seen that brown " big skull " version in actual use . Or a version of it in green ( ! ) .
The BROWN BeVo TK that is really sought after ( because of its very short use on the famous camo cap ! ) is of a totally different design , was produced for less than a month before being abolished , and is 100% >> identical to its GREEN version .
Picture by Mark Edward C. , the only one I could find of them side by side ..

The one and only , by mr. Brandon in Canada - at the time just too expensive for me ( $ 2500,- ) , I still only own a green set ..
And finally - the true brown TK in situ ; picture from collection of mr. D. Delich
Same by Jim Toncar ..
And mr. Hritz - we are talking about a handfull worldwide , that are left from this VERY limited period in time ..
Thanks Winkelman, for this very interesting information!
