The piping looks pretty bad to me, not something I would expect to see from a trained Mützenmacher of the time, especially ca. 1936 when more trained craftsmen were to be had. As for the interior... just from what little we can see in the photos, the lining is wrong (looks like the type found in the newer fakes) and the stamp is way, way off.

I can not say it is a "Frankenstein" but it is definitely not good.

Hoheitszeichen is one of the bogus M 1/25 fakes and the stamp is a fake, too.

We have a lot of images of real caps. This is copied from our prototypes.

The peak is wrong, too.

I would have to see it actually, but that's my coup d'oeil.

It is not impossible that some fool stamped a real cap, either.

I write it too often, but: photos are not enough to distinguish these caps.

I was dure about crap but o would bet a little amount to the body of cap. Of coursenlining piping sweatband noto. good.
