An early SS officer's cap of some merit.
The tag: Wm. Kueppers of Dortmund, an A2 maker, i.e. artisan.
The photo is Wilhelm Kube in Potsdam in March 1934. The latter became notorious for his murderous rule in the occupied USSR.

I must ask as I am no major cap collector. But why are some chords flush against knot and others not? As the one in your first set of pics are not?
