Let's say that it is not so much the quality of the photographs as that of the attitudes on display there that all too often leaves much to be desired.

The early SS like the early SA did not wear shoulder boards. I believe they came in to use sometime in 1932 or very early 1933. I am sure Wilhelm Saris would have the document in his archives nailing down a specific date.

The early SS like the early SA did not wear shoulder boards. I believe they came in to use sometime in 1932 or very early 1933. I am sure Wilhelm Saris would have the document in his archives nailing down a specific date.
thanks i did not know that , i wonder if some of the early tunics were put in to rzm service . so to speak up grade . or off the shelf stock , i think so ,
