Article about: I have studied this Cossack photo many times, and would like to know your opinions regarding the skull on the sidecap. Is it a German ww2 made skull, or something else? I am wondering if it

I also wonder about the sleeve patch in the photograph. Can anybody identify it?

Yes Sir. Its the insignia of the "Young Cossacks" as far as i know. As said earlier my library is on the other side of the world, so this info is from my demented harddrive, and some copy of related pages.

I have some photos in my archive of same skulls on cossack sidecaps, but i dont know where i have placed them.
Sorry, anyway hope these "drawings" can aid you.
