Doctors as a career group were greatly over represented in the ranks of the SS versus their size as a group in German society overall.

Very good point, indeed, as they surely did break their oath by such service in the SS.

The story of national socialism and its organizations is very much of the perversion of such middle class virtue to integral nationalism, racial violence and mass murder.

Thanks F-B for bringing these images from the amazing Delich collection. Thanks also to Mr. Delich for sharing here as well.

ID:	675107Of note is the extra tailoring of the collar, and the the wider piping of the collar versus the collar patch. The coat was also tailored by an actual tailor versus in a clothing factory.

ID:	675108The item also has no cuff title.

nor, according to colleague Delich, for whom cuff titles have been his cosmos for sixty or so years, the thing did not have one.
