I personally would not touch it as it is in trashed condition. This collar
patch is not that rare, and is occasionally available if you can wait for
it to appear again on some site. At best, in its present state it can not
be highly regarded as a sought after, desirable collectible. Here's my
best advice -- wait until a better example surfaces -- they are out there!

    Hey

I would say, IF you have to have it, $250.00 might be a good number....or less. I would say save your money and when you get to the $$ you need to buy one in better shape that would be the best idea. ALways keep in mind the time might come when you might want to trade it or sell it. I will PM you another of the same scull that was just posted today for sale on a dealer site.

"Uncle" Bob Hritz is a great teacher. Follow his lead. He once told me, "It is better to have a collection of a few GREAT things than a collection of average things". I will never forget it. So save your money and buy a better tab.

    Cheers

It would appear that Bob has given you good advice -- IF YOU MUST HAVE IT,
$250 is not too unrealistic. But, when you are able to secure a better
example for a greater amount, you will have to seek out a person who will
be interested in paying you $250 or more for your damaged specimen. If you
can't find such a purchaser, your ''better example'' will, in reality, cost you,
say $1000 plus the $250 for the more undesirable example. Therefore, you
have a total investment of $1200 in the better specimen -- until you locate
someone who is as satisfied as you were with the damaged piece. That
may take you a while. Anyway, good luck in whatever you decide.

I can only agree with the last three posts. It is good sound advice.

    Cheers, Ade.
