right. and that piping has a core of some kind of material... hard to see from the pics... that's not right.

i would look around the forum using the search function and research these a little first. they are not close examples. this way, you will learn something as you go and avoid running into this sort of thing.

They key is the badge cloth, which is very distinctive, save when war time shortages take hold.
There were many different Sternchen, although there was also an RZM/SS species of same, but since I do not pry apart my uniforms, I can only judge same from the exterior view.

Paul - no worries! I actually got them in a lot I picked up. I actually bought numerous items, and I was given these lot of badges for a little extra. NOTHING to cry over. Had I paid full value... I would be in tears... Thanks everyone
