Information on this SS badge?

I picked this badge up from an antique store today, I was told it was genuine, so I took their word for it.

If anyone knows anything about this badge, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

What should I say?

I would start off with going back to the shop and tell them "I posted this on a reputable site and ask for opinions and was told it was a fake and could I get my money back"
Then I would learn from this experience and you mentioned others, So I would post items here before purchasing items you are not sure about.
Just my 2 centavos on this subject
