Bravo. My warm thanks to my friend in Texas for his role here and elsewhere. These images are from the summer of 1939. One wonders what this bright smile and good cheer in Kassell in 1939 became by 1946.
Our very own Joe of Texas was lucky enough to find one of these rare uniforms.
