Now that is a collection I could spend a lifetime gathering and yet another getting lost in its content. Your library is a testament to your depth of knowledge.

Thank you. Books are important. Those who scorn them, denigrate them, and burn them are fools. Those collectors who fail to read in the conventional way are damned to certain failure in this pursuit.Click image for larger version.

The above pictures require decoding for those without wit. There is Duerer's Ritter, Tod und Teufel, that is, Knight, Death, and Devil, a marvelous allegory; the fruit stand at the Munich train station, which indicates something other than SS regalia; a collection of garden gnomes, Schopenhauer, a great philosopher; Christmas decorations in Vienna last season (a nice image...) as well as William Shatner on the Twilight Zone alerting the crew of said plane to gremlins. All of these images comprise aspects of SS collecting, even if you do not readily recognize them. That is, the philosophical; the ridiculous; the sublime; the farcical; the absurd and repugnant.
    damit, basta.
