Will refrain from comments on originality as my knowledge of these are extremely limited but sure you've done your homework already. But I like it. Is this tunic removed?

Hi Michael it sure is looks like it's had some use also, as the part that has the damage is the underside of the sleeve so would of come into a lot of contact with stuff they was leaning on.
so looks like a lot of combat use, i bought with a group of items from a dealer so i can return it if its bad, the dealer dose have a good rep also lots of people recommend him.

Six strand cuffs did exist, it's been proven............... but the only one I have ever seen and handled was a Das Reich. Most collectors would take a wide berth at six strands, especially the price an AH commands.
