Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam!
That's really beautiful !!
i think i have seen this before .willy s..... something ?
The tunic is a classic beauty with all matching early insignia. It is one that any collector would be pleased to own.
The gray visor hat is also quite attractive.
Richie, your friend has some wonderful pieces.

I agree with Bob Hritz. A very important and nice piece, with obviously authentic insignia with a pleasing patina. I am out of my depth with grey uniforms, but this piece has a certain poetry to it. The wear to the collar as a whole speaks a kind of authority that one fails to see in so many other piece. A wonderful Montur, all the more remarkable that the early ish insignia survived intact on this piece.
RichieC,
Thank you for posting all of these images. I hope there are many more to come.
This tunic is an outstanding, early piece. I believe it is also featured in the beaver books.
