Highly unlikely.
The Volkssturm wore whatever was at hand.

I don't think they would have wanted to be mistaken for waffen ss troops.
I think they mainly wore civilian clothes and the volkssturm armband.
Hello look!

For the uniform, they have the armband, sometimes helmets.

Efforts were made to supply uniforms to the Volkssturm, usually surplus Luftwaffe and Heer uniforms. Thus many Volkssturm would have worn a mix of civilian and military clothing. They had their own rank system as well. I would guess that supplies of camo uniforms would have gone straight to fighting units as opposed to the Volkssturm, especially SS camo. I suppose that the Volkssturm members, by the end of the war, would have been aware that Waffen SS prisoners were often ill treated at best, so I doubt that they would have taken the risk of being identified as a SS soldier.

Indeed so, panzer crews were often shot after being captured on the eastern front, the soviets mistaking them for SS due to their totenkopf insignia.
